Monthly Archives: September 2010

We just secured Feast venues for November and January and hope to confirm October today. Stay tuned to learn where you will be feasting for the cause in coming months…

Welcome to the New Trail to a Cure Website

TTAC’s new website design will allow the organization’s 100% volunteer staff to keep you up-to-date much more easily than our prior two websites.

The blog lets us update the site from almost anywhere, and you can subscribe to it so that you receive an email announcement when a new post such as this one has been made.

The web address has not changed. if still takes you to the old site, that should change very shortly.

We will have several Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS announcements in the very near future.

Please ask your friends and family to subscribe to this blog using the handy widget on the right side of the page.

And mark your calendar for the big event on the first Saturday in May!

Got Photos?

We would like to use participant/volunteer submitted images to help convey the message about TTAC on our web page. If you have event photos you would like to submit for possible use on the new website at (the CURRENT home of our new web site), please email them to in a web-friendly format.

The TTAC Web Lackey

F2FA, WAD, and Request

The TTAC board met tonight for its regular monthly meeting.  We have decided to re-engage with the Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS efforts.

So, a F2FA page will be added to the site as well.

We also made progress at planning activities for World AIDS Day on December 1. Watch for details!

We also decided to investigate the possibly of hiring an inexpensive web designer familiar with WordPress to help with some of the development of the new web site. If you have any ideas, please post them as a comment. Thanks!

The new website has been cleaned up a bit–but we have a lot of work still to do.

A work in progress

As we learn more about how WordPress works, we are adding, editing, formatting, and otherwise fixing-up the site.

A few things that are forthcoming:

  • many more images from past events in a gallery
  • sponsor logos/links (we hope to have a rotating sponsor widget at some point)
  • links to the TTAC presence on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter
  • other things we think up…

Because we are 100% volunteers, most of whom are busy professionals, we are trying to keep the site low-maintenance so we can keep it updated for you.
